Employment
Croner Publishing Group Feb 2002 - Present
Dave started at Croner to continue some of the work done there whilst a BroadVision consultant. He has performed a range of roles acting as a co-ordination point for the electronic publishing parts of the business. After driving initiatives to unify the business' approach to the online world, he has been drafted into Project Management. He is currently overseeing the migration of core business processes (e-commerce and entitlement) to a single point of delivery portal system.
BroadVision Inc Sep 2000 - Feb 2002
Dave joined BroadVision as a business consultant, but quickly became involved in a range of technical projects, including building the search facility for the new MyTravel site. This lead on to a series of troubleshooting and training assignments, before leading the testing and project wrap-up of a major project at Croner.
Siebel Inc Jul 1999 - Sep 2000
Dave joined Siebel after graduation and immediately volunteered to assist with the initial training course (BootCamp) on a three-month secondment. During this time the BootCamp leader was promoted and Dave took his place, leading the only BootCamp outside the US for six months and training some 150 people. He then returned to the consulting department where he acted as a workflow and data processing specialist on the design and implementation of Merrill Lynch/HSBC Share Dealing, a $1billion joint venture in the city.
International Specialty Products (ISP) Jun 1997 - Aug 1998
Dave joined ISP for a 12 month sandwich year placement, and was immediately put to work on a range of projects. Within five months Dave had created a novel new UV coating system that was used by a customer and netted the company $¾million. Moving on, Dave tackled the world of specialist paper coatings, and after discovering methods of improving the economic viability of ISP products in the marketplace was hired for a further three months to continue the project worth an estimated $800million in world-wide sales.

Dave then secured lab space and specialist equipment from ISP to complete a joint research project for his final-year dissertation on environmentally considerate chemical replacements in the steel finishing industry.
Early Career
Always craving work and a challenge, Dave organised his own work-experience at school working with MP Don Foster and creating new flavour combinations at St Ivel's Labs. For paid employment he took on two jobs after his GCSEs and earned £120 a week on £2.10 an hour. Later he worked with Marks and Spencers both at home and at university where he increased his income by becoming a gents suit tailoring advisor and a cash trustee.
Other Experience
Dave was heavily involved in theatre productions (as script-writer, actor and lighting designer and operator) at school and sixth form. Throughout all the institutions in his life, Dave has been an elected representative for something.

Interests
