Dave has been taking a philosophy A level evening course for the last year, and the results came out on 14-AUG-03.

The first half of the A level gets you an AS level these days and so I get a qualification half way through, which is nice.

Dave got a B and was quite chuffed. He was hoping for an A and even stood a realistic chance as he wasn't revising as a 17 year old for this A level. However the exam was tough, the predicted questions weren't there, so the supposed slackening of standards didn't help him at all. However everyone else in the class had tough results as well, so Dave is chuffed with his B and is looking forward to year 2.
