A journey is simple. You start out, do some travelling and get to where you were going.
Embarking on that journey is just one small part of a physical journey, but with a change journey I have found something different...
In journeys to change myself I have found the hardest part is finding the courage to set out. It's the fact that you are putting yourself on the line as a commitment to a change. After that everything else is really just doing stuff (not buying cigarettes or whatever is your change).
Thus I equate taking the decision to change and starting on the journey, as actually having completed the change, after all if you act differently you have changed (even if you only gave up 5 mins ago, you're still an ex-smoker!)
