Concept Hope and Capability - The idea is that in the same way as without capability change cannot happen, without hope change cannot happen. The idea proposed is that hope and capability are effectively interchangeable terms. For example look at the concept proposed in the diagram below: The capability to take the first steps must also be accompanied with the belief that you can take those steps and succeed - essentially hope that change can be achieved. However hope does not require a separate term as hope and capability are so closely interlinked and mutually dependent that they could be seen as two facets of the same thing.
